Boston didn’t come calling, but no decision can diminish what Fairways 4 Kids accomplished. A reflection on disappointment, gratitude, approximately $5,000 raised for Boston Children’s Hospital and what it means to pick up the shield anyway.

Before the first tee shot is struck, Fairways 4 Kids has already become more than a golf tournament—a community coming together, honoring meaningful stories and giving back to Boston Children’s Hospital.
